The hike starts in the small village of Campill in the Pares or Val di Morins car park. The forest road leads into the valley. Soon, you reach a signposted junction: you can stay on the forest road, which adds 1 km to the route, or choose the shorter, but slightly steeper forest path. Near the tree line, you will meet the forest road again and can follow it all the way to the hut or continue along the shorter but steeper forest path. Around the hut, there is a large terrace with sunbeds, and the views of the mountain peaks of the Puez-Geisler Group are simply stunning.
