The hike to Col Becchei starts at the car park near the Pederü mountain inn in the Rau Valley. From there, the path either follows a wide gravel road or a steeper trail towards Fanes. Both routes ascend towards the upper valley floor. The trail then continues through karstic terrain until reaching the Fanes hut. From there, hikers proceed to the Limojoch and Lake Limo.
From Lake Limo, the path leads to the summit of Col Becchei, initially climbing through grassy slopes and later steeply over rocky terrain. At the top, hikers are rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view of Dolomite peaks such as Hohe Gaisl, Conturines, and Lavarella. The descent follows the same route as the ascent.
