Crossing the Grünwald Valley starting from Olang
The hike starts at Badbergfall, from where your ascent starts via the Lapedur ridge. Between the two peaks of Dreifingerspitze and Flatschkofel, you reach the Hochalm in the Fanes-Sennes-Prags Nature Park. From here, the descent begins: you cross the green meadows of the Hochalm and follow a path down into the Grünwald Valley. The trail leads almost level to the Grünwaldalm and continues to Lake Braies. After reaching the northeast shore of the famous lake in the Dolomites, you can take public transportation back to Olang.
