From the Furkel Pass, there are two options for ascending the mountain. The shorter, but steeper and more demanding route follows path 12B, which initially ascends steeply through the woods and then continues between rocks, leading sharply up to the summit. The final stretch passes over the grassy hillside and up to the peak.
The longer, but somewhat easier path 3A runs more gently along a forest trail to the Dreifinger ridge and then climbs steeply and in a zigzag pattern over the ridge. Here too, the final stretch takes you up the green southern slope of the summit. At the top, you are rewarded with a stunning 360° panoramic view: in addition to the nearby Lake Hochalpensee and the entire Fanes-Sennes Nature Park, you can also see the impressive Three Peaks.
