Fanes Hut, St. Vigil
The hike starts at the Berggasthaus Pederü mountain inn (with a bus stop and parking facilities) and initially follows a fairly steep forest road towards Fanes. You quickly gain altitude and follow the road until you reach the Fanes hut. From there you can make a short detour to the nearby Lake Limo (an additional 100 meters of elevation gain, 1 km). Those who wish to turn the hike into a summit tour can ascend to Antonius Peak and enjoy an impressive panoramic view (+620 meters of elevation gain, 6.2 km round trip).
