Taistner Alm, Taisten
From Mudlerhof car park, walk straight ahead along the wide forest path. This hike is only slightly ascending throughout. Following the same path through the forested slopes, you reach the Taistner Vorderalm. From the sunny terrace of the Alm, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Dolomites. The hut is rustic, the food is delicious, and the hospitality is top notch. The return journey can follow the same route. Those who wish to extend the hike can return via the summit of the Lutterkopf. This detour is 1.7 km longer and requires an additional 170 meters of descent.
