The hike starts at the picturesque Lake Antholz, which is worth a trip on its own. At the end of the valley, follow the hiking path towards the Staller Sattel. The route passes through an idyllic alpine landscape characterized by rocks, small streams, and alpine roses that bloom in bright pink in July. The Steinzger Alm is rustic and has a small terrace. From there, you enjoy a stunning view of the Lake Antholz, which shimmers deep blue in the distance.
The return journey follows the same route. A walk around the Lake Antholz on the way back is also recommended to enjoy the impressive landscape from a new perspective. The starting point of the hike is easily accessible by bus.
