The unassuming Steinbergalm in the Silvester Valley near Toblach surprises visitors with its beautiful, peaceful location, delicious food, and warm hospitality. From the car park at the entrance of the valley, follow the Toblach mountain path. The forest road to the Silvesteralm has only a slight incline, but the final stretch to the Steinbergalm is steeper. From the sunny terrace of the Alm, you can enjoy a stunning view of the Sexten Dolomites and even catch a glimpse of the famous Three Peaks. For the way back, you can take a narrow path via the “Hühnerspiel” which requires an additional 200 meters of elevation gain. This trail starts to the right below the hut.
