The hike starts at the car park in Rit, where you initially follow the wide gravel road. After about 2 km, you reach a signpost and bear right onto a narrow forest path. The trail wends it sway through a small wooded area, passing roots and rocks, and then zigzags steeply uphill.
Soon, you reach a beautiful, hilly green landscape before you bear left, where you can already spot the summit cross. The final stretch takes you over rocks to the top of Pares. It’s worth continuing along the path a little further beyond the summit, as you can enjoy an even better view from an elevated point. The descent follows the same route as the ascent.
