A hiking tip for the whole family!
Let's go to the Gönner Alm (1,987m) above Oberwielenbach in the Pustertal valley. It is located at the foot of the towering Rammelstein and is one of the most popular alpine huts in the Rieserferner-Ahrn Nature Park..
There are basically several ways to reach the Gönneralm:
- Marking Nr. 6, in sections the ascent is somewhat more demanding, but still easily doable..
Walking time approx. 1 h 15 min.
- Head towards the earth pyramids and then follow trail no. 16, later on trail no. 6 to the Gönneralm.
Walking time approx. 1h 30 min.
- You can also take the longer forest path: From the car park in Oberwielenbach, follow the asphalt road past the Platten earth pyramids - into the Rieserferner-Ahrn Nature Park. Follow the forest road for 4 km in a northerly direction to the Gönneralm.
Can also be done with a mountain bike and pram!
