The hike starts in the small village of Campill at the Pares parking lot or Val di Morins. The forest road leads into the valley. Soon, you reach a signposted junction: you can stay on the forest road, which adds 1 km per way, or choose the shorter, but slightly steeper forest path. Near the tree line, you will meet the forest road again and can follow it all the way to the hut (or shorten the route again). Around the hut, there is a large terrace with sunbeds, and the view of the mountain peaks of the Puez-Geisler group is simply stunning.
