The unassuming Steinberg hut in the Silvestertal Valley near Toblach surprises visitors with its beautiful, peaceful location, delicious food, and warm hospitality. From the parking lot at the entrance of the valley, follow the Toblacher high route trail. The forest road to the Silvester hut has only a slight incline, but the final stretch to the Steinberg hut is steeper. From the sunny terrace of the hut, you can enjoy a stunning view of the Sexten Dolomites and even catch a glimpse of the famous Drei Zinnen. For the way back, you can take a narrow path via the "Hühnerspiel," which requires an additional 200 meters of elevation gain. This trail starts to the right below the hut.
