A mountain lake in turquoise

Lake Sorapiss in the Bellunese Dolomites, not far from the South Tyrolean Hochpustertal, offers an overwhelming sight. The diverse Dolomite landscape with its chalky, rugged rock faces does the rest. This absolutely worthwhile, relatively easy half-day hike is, however, only recommended to sure-footed mountain hikers due to some exposed passages. You can also continue to the Sorapis peak.
