The turquoise-blue Neves reservoir in Lappach is the starting point of this hike. First, you circle the lake until you reach the Neves hut. From there, you continue on a path through the forest and soon through lush greenery, passing babbling streams, until you reach the Edelweiß hut. At the hut, you take a left, and the path winds its way uphill over larger stones and rocks. For this section, you should not be afraid of heights and be sure-footed. The trail is well-marked on the stones, but caution is advised. The last stretch runs almost level along the slope, and already here, a breathtaking panoramic view opens up. Nevertheless, you should keep your eyes on the path. Soon, you will reach the summit cross. To the north, the wall of the 3,000-meter-high Weißzint peak rises, in the valley you can see the Eisbrugg sea, and to the south, the Dolomite peaks tower into the sky. The descent is made via the same route.
