The hike starts at the Bad Bergfall hiking parking lot, which is also accessible by bus from the hotel. First, you walk along a trail through the forest to Lanzwiesen hut. The final stretch to the hut is along a wide gravel road. Just before reaching the hut, turn right and follow the marker to the Flatschkofel ridge. Once at the pass, the summit is to the left. Follow a narrow path across the grassy slopes, which later becomes a bit unclear, and cross-country to the summit cross. The return journey follows the same path as the ascent.
