Starting at the Frondeigen parking lot near Kurterhof, the hike begins on a forest road that leads to the grassy slopes. The trail continues across alpine meadows, passing two private alpine huts, and ascends further—at times quite steeply. Following the Toblach high route, you reach the beautiful summit cross of Golfen. The flat summit invites you to linger and enjoy the view. The descent follows the same route as the ascent.
