The short but demanding hike begins at the cable car station at Falzarego Pass. The trail follows the "Sentiero del Fronte," initially leading straight before zigzagging uphill. Though the ascent to the summit of the small Lagazuoi covers only 3 km, the steep incline makes it a challenging trek. At the top cable car station, you'll pass the Rifugio Lagazuoi mountain hut before continuing a short distance to the summit cross. There, a breathtaking view of the surrounding Dolomite landscape awaits. The descent can be taken via the same trail or conveniently by cable car back to the parking lot.
